I've been on the track numerous times. Not yet in BorCal, though. NASA NorCal does about 1 track event per month, and they are a great group. Mostly events at infineon, and thunderhill

what track have you been to? laguna seca is in salinas though, you gotta go there. it should be a really fun, challenging track.

theres one coming in feb 13 in thunderhill. its just $99 if you are a ncrc member, if not add $10 each event. its still cheap compare to the others. regularly it costs about $150, but usually requires member as i know of. i will probably go to the thunderhill one and infineon in late march.

are there requirements like needing a helmet or fire extinguisher or anything like that? How do I become an NCRC member, any cost to it?

drags is usually on every wed @ infineon. lap sessions are usually on weekends. about $150/day, its expensive but seems worth it. beat the hell out of the car in a safer and legal place. i guess most of us would love to know what we and our cars can do. it would be about time to register for feburary events.

green flag driving is hosting. other than a helmet i don't think there are any other requirements. 325 for the day, which is a lot, but not compared to the other track days i have looked at. this is my first track day anywhere, let alone at laguna, so i am not really sure how its all going down.

i live in monterey, so its only a 20 min drive or so for me. i have a stock 06 6MT. nothing fancy. and this should be the death knell for my RE050s.

hopefully one of you guys can come out. i'd like to meet a fellow G driver in the area. just moved here from florida.

Infineon

Any track dates on infineon? And also do you have to have a competitors license? And for equipment all you need is a helmet right?
