squeaky brakes in bay area

Is there anyone in the bay area that has resolved the squeaky brakes issue on 03 Coupes? I know there are plenty of threads on this forum about how to fix it and what brakes can be used for replacements.

I had my brakes and rotors replaced about 6 months ago and they have been squeaking ever since. I had it done at a brake and tire place and have brought it back in like 4 times and just gave up since they werent able to fix it.

I was hoping that the squeaking would get better as the pads got more wear on them but it doesnt look like its happening. The brakes basically squeak every day but I sort of just ignore it since I am so used to it and just blast my stereo. At this point I am thinking of just getting rid of this car and getting a Mini Cooper but in order to sell my car, I would probably need to get the brakes fixed first.

So if anyone in the bay area knows of a place or knows someone that has had experience fixing this issue, please let me know.

Thanks
-Alex

same experience over here. 03' coupe. my car also vibrates a little bit when theres a high speed braking. i realized the rotors are so uneven that cause the vibration, but not sure if that also make the noise. im getting my rotors replaced this weekend. i will let you know if thats the case.

Isnt, it between the shim and the pad? I dont think you want to be applying any lube directly to the rotors

Never said rotors...never grease between pad and rotors haha.
I'll be more descriptive I guess...between caliper piston and pad. If shims used, butter them up too.

Just noticed mine starting to squeal with ~35K on them on these cold mornings. Then no more after a few stops.

so kris helped me try to fix the pads yesterday but he found out that the pads were not OEM. mechanic also only used one set of shims. Kris lubed it up some more and clipped the one shim on each of the front. the car doesnt squeak as much but it still squeaks when i brake on the freeway at a higher speed. i am going to just have him replace the pads. hopefull that will fix it.
