Yes try to find secured parking. On street parking sux in general and crime is everywhere no matter where you live. Notamas is better now than previously labeled. Hardly hear about it much on Sac news to other Sac areas in comparison now. Daughters bff room mates been there for almost a year with no issues in their gated complex.

OP, this Sac Police Dept Crime Mapping weblink tool should give you a good idea of where not to rent in the Sac area. I am retracting my recommendation on the "Pocket" and Green Haven" areas. View the reports.

i live in south sac n im afraid to park my car outside even tho its completely stock =[
just last week my neighbors honda accord got jacked for its stock wheels.
