Wheel Techniques -Rim/Wheel Repair - RePost for your help

Junior - Wekfest here....

An older post I did and thought you can use another resource. I do realize "some" people out there may not have had the best experience with this shop but I sent them 5-6 different sets of wheels and all came out awesome with nice turnaround time....5-7 days,.....My experience with them has been great...

I had Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara do some rim/wheel repair on my Work VS-XX back in 2005 and posted a similar thread like this before.....

Here's what happened after it hit a nasty pothole on the dumbarton bridge:

Here's some minor curb rash from the previous owner -

Here's what WT did in 4 days time....

Mugen M7 wheels I had them do a couple of weeks ago.........

NO bends or warps, just had a lot of RASH on all the rims, rashed bolt holes and a few bolt caps where dented and scratched. Not the greatest shape but not bad for some 13+ year old rims....

So I decided to get the lips all re-done and fixed. Road rash was on ALL the rims and also get the face and cap fixed.

I wanted something differant but NOT CRAZY! So I decided on getting a nice polish and have the bolts powder coated BLACK -

They had my wheels for 3 days and charged me $500 for the clean-up and polish. I gave them the wheels with tires mounted and they didn't charge me to re-mount anf balance them - Jeff is the person to talk to as he hooked it up!

Tell me what you think...good and/or constructive comments!

I love how they turned out! Orignally wanted me bolts to be red anodized but the paint was very thin and WT suggested I go black. I thought the red rivets and some red lug nuts would of looked great....but oh well....

Thanks for reading guys.....

Shop's work looks clean, thanks for the info. I'll remember this place if I never need something done.

Wheels look clean, bro!

I'll be taking my GT-C's to them for a little TLC soon. Wheel Techniques does quality work.

Were they able to "re-coat" the Work wheels after working on them?

the cost per wheel was from 100 to 150, depending on damage right?

^ Yeah, I'm interested to know what's the price too. I've heard that they do great work, while some others say the price they charge is way too high for the quality you get. Judging from the pictures you shared though it looks like they do good work.
