Hit a pothole and bent my wheel! FML

I was driving home from the union city Toy drive last night and it was raining crazy hard. Didn't see a pothole on the freeway and ended up smashing right into it. I Seriouslly felt like my car just dropped into a crater made by superman or something.

Here's the damage: FML

You can but long process big waste of time... I tried about 2 years ago and did what they required me to do when I damaged my wheels due to a gouge in the road ...

Told me to write a letter to a particular office, stating full details about what happen, attach receipts for parts and someone will get back to me in 8 to 10 weeks after reviewing it... I wonder when does 8 to 10 weeks will be up lol ... Called them 4 months later they said same thing someone is reviewing it and will contact you... I just gave up... Either way they told me that its not guaranteed that I will get compensated for it...

Straight bullsh*t

What freeway was this? If there's a pothole that big on a street where people are going 60+ mph, it would be stupid if they didn't fix it ASAP. I only watch out for potholes on street/city roads, but I guess freeways can be just as bad.

damn bro that sucks,

But consider yourself lucky, I've bent 2 rims at the same time once.

Was on the motorway and out of no where this huge brick like thing was in front of me, I couldn't swerve around it so both my passenger side rims went over it and what do u know they both got dented!!!!

Although yours looks really bad. Hope you manage to sort it out soon. If u can get the counsel to pay for it then that's even better.

You drove over a brick and it just damaged your wheel? Lucky.

I ran over a TINY pine cone in my G35 and I ended up having to pull over because in my rear view, I saw a huge black piece of plastic fly out from behind my car.

Road debris can be your worst enemy.
