4.16.11 Japan Tsunami Relief Car Show (Sac,CA)

JAPAN TSUNAMI RELIEF CAR SHOW @ DECEPTI-KON APRIL 16th

Our hearts go out to those impacted by the devastating Tsunami that hit Japan. To assist those affected, we at Team LoveHATE,in conjuction with EuroSunday, and NorCal Scion are hosting a “Japan Tsunami Relief Car Show” at the Red Lion Hotel on April 16th from 10am -4pm.

The donation for entry is $20.00 with ALL proceeds going to the Red Cross to assist the people of Japan. Every entry will also receive one free pass into the convention. This will be a fun and rewarding event.

I got an email from the organizers ... with updated information:

Best Domestic
Best Bike
Best Import
Best Team
Decepti-Kon Favorite
Team LoveHATE Favorite
Crowd Favorite
Red Cross Favorite

Judging will begin at 11am and the awards will be handed out at 3pm (times tentative)

I'm told that there lots of slots available (based on the RSVPs/pre-registrations) .. I'm not sure how crazy the on-site registration process will be .. but if you're planning on participating, you might just want to RSVP

LOL ... The pics (Photobucket) above were the winners, that I could remember. The "Best Euro" was the porsche.

Awards were like the Best Import plaque (the one I won) .. the Red Cross was in the shape of a "cross" ..

I had put my camera away by the time awards were being handed out .. but there were lots of pics taken during the awards. I just haven't found them posted anywhere yet.
