VDC ABS and SLIP lights on. Recommendations on local shop?

VDC ABS and SLIP lights on for a few weeks now. Happened about 6 months ago and top off brake fluid and it went away. Now it's back and comes on all the time. Either if I brake while driving (which seems the abs goes in and out because it vibrates first) or I'm just cruising, the lights will randomly come on. I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem and where did you bring it locally in the bay? I really don't wanna go to the dealership but I will if I have to. The car is no longer in warranty. It's a 2005 6MT coupe. Would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks!

Have you checked your brake pads? I've had that happen before and it was because my brake pads were almost gone

I'm having the same problem, and it wont let me get out of park without pushing the shift lock.. it may be my brake pads cuz idk when the last time i had them changed n if i rotate the wheel by hand it sounds like its rubbing against something, it isnt smooth

Thanks for all your input. I ended up just setting an appointment over an Beshoff Infiniti in San Jose. Apparently that's one of the only worth dealerships going to. Wish me luck, just tired of this already. lol.

Just had to cancel the appointment I set up at Beshoff this sat. So now it gives me more time to do a little more research. Still open to any other suggestions. Thanks

It's also possible you have a dirty or bad speed sensor/s. You can try cleaning those out. I actually have the same issue and still need to do that to see if it goes away.

Thanks! I'll try that out this weekend when I have some free time. Hopefully that's it.
