2nd Annual Bay Area G Dyno Day

Hey guys/girls,

Time flies, isn't it ?
Hopefully the year was good and your Gs got some mods.
What do you all think about putting this event together again? SoCal people are doing it, we need to represent too

Those who are interested, please respond. If I remember correctly we need 15 cars to get a discount at ModaCar.

At the price Modacar offers, you'd have to be nuts to turn down an opportunity to put your car on the dyno. Now to figure out when...

I'd be in again even though I don't have any new mods since our last dyno day. For $35 or whatever it was the last time, I'd dyno again just for kicks and grins. Plus dyno days are always fun!

We would probably want to go to ModaCar, since most of the people here had their baselines done there.

As far as I remember we need a day with 78-82 degree temperature, low barometric pressure and moderate humidity to get close to conditions last year.

I just got off the phone with John.
We need to get minumum of 10 cars to get a rate of $40/3 runs per car. Damn inflation I still think it is reasonable.

He said he would do it on Saturday and we have an option of March 5th, 12th and 19th.

If we want March 5th, he needs to know by the end of this week.

Let's stick with ModaCar, I think we can all agree that we had a very pleasant experience there. We should shoot for March 19th, just to give people more notice. The more notice, the better the turnout IMO. I am free all three Saturdays though. Andrew are you taking the reigns on this one? Bobby care to weigh in? I'm already getting giddy!

Eloy,

No problem. I'm taking charge.

O_Snap,

I like the idea of Dynapak better, since it is more accurate on automatics, but as mentioned by crew, we really liked the experience at Moda last year and I really hope John will give us a ride in his sick 240z this time

This is final - March 19th 2005 is the dyno day.
I'll post on my350z norcal forum.
