We had a very good turnout back in January at the RED ROBIN MEET in San Mateo. Roughly 30+ cars came out...Since the roll call list is 50+ now, I'm hoping this turnout will be better. Here are the plans:

Time: 12:00 - 2:00PM - They don't open till 12PM -
Less than 10 DRIVERS no reservation necessary - 10 or more (pre-pay) -

As of Monday 4/18/05 - (UPDATE) -

It seems that pricing for THE CLINIC is a bit pricy so here's what we'll do instead:

(Practice: $25. Each additional practice $20.) -
A Practice Session is a 10 minute session where you are racing for your fastest lap time with up to 10 drivers. You will complete 15-20 laps depending on speed and skill.

(Race: $45. Each additional race $40.) -
The race session begins with 5 minutes of qualifying, then racers line up on a grid for a 15 minute race to cross the finish line first.

For those intersted in karting please indicate (PRACTICE or RACE) -
We will only do the KARTRACING if we have at least (10 DRIVERS)...!!!
Drivers please CONFIRM by May 14, 2005 (one week before the meet).
Don't forget there's a $7.00 license fee if you don't already have one.
Make sure you have your driver's license.
I believe that we need to pre-pay if we have groups of 10 or more before the day of the event.

hey kenempirexx, i am on the list! the first one to Treasure island. we caravan up there remember?

dude i haven't been to a meet in a loooonnnggg time. hows your white g35 doing? i am assuming its still white and you still have it.. haha.

 

Haha, we are old timer. Do you still have ur G? I believe yours is a sedan, right. It was long time ago, so I have hard to remember old members. yea, i still drive a White G. More mods now, i haven't go to a G meet for awhile, too. People like Young, Bobby, etc. are lonng lost already.

 

Yeah, i still have my G. Its a DG coupe with some stuff.. We met up at southland mall before heading to that in and out in millbrea i think.

but yeah, that meet was right after i got my car. i haven't been active on the boards but i am still roaming around to see whats up and whats new. I think i am going to hit up the next meet that pops up. so maybe i'll see ya there.

Yea...alot of people move along. I had a chance to get a IS350 after my car accident (1st White G), but i end up picking up another white G. Haha, i still remember the days, meets were shorter driving and less hassle. We always get "something" on new meets.

Back in the days, we never got:
- cyclists yell at us and said, "GO HOME, YOU RACE CAR DRIVERS!!"
- 4 cops pull over a row of 15+ G35 and give BS tickets TO EACH OF THEM
- old m3 punks say, "NICE NISSAN!!"
