Sorry Andy didn't see your post, yes my car is lowered.
Linda the 25,000 miles are on my rear, the fronts are the same tires I have had since 5,000 miles, I now have 45,000 miles on the car so 40,000 miles on the Michelins and I still have some tread on them.

I went smaller to 255 just so I could drive to work without worry, so far 25,000 and the tires look as good as new.
I do want to go bigger but does anyone know what is required so that we can get them back in spec. Eloy I know you must have some info on this.
As far as I know the width of your tires does not effect your camber. My guess is because you lowered your car you have nagative camber in the rear, the wider tires just did worse under these conditions. You should have had an alignment done after you lowered your G.

Andy,

I did not have them mount my TPS. I sold those with my stock 19's.

Paul,

Did you get the rims that you had mentioned to me? If so . . . Great! Good for you.

Chris,

Yeah, I will leave my TPS on my 19's. I am giving those to my brother. However, I will be taking his TPS's off of his '04 Sedan. There may or may not be a low pressure warning calibration issue, but I check my pressures quite frequently. I simply don't want that warning light coming on.

Damn, Paul . . . That's a serious 2x digit savings. Good for you! Hehehe . . . Shoot, you don't have to wait for your rims, I'm guessing. I finally took the plunge and ordered my new Winnings. I'm paying quite a bit more and need to wait for a bit.

The Challenges are going to look soooo Sweet on your G, Paul. My wife, Carol, liked the look the Challenges, as well. Hehehe . . . It was a hard choice, but I finally decided on the Winnings in Mercury Silver.

Hey, post sopme pics when you get it all hooked up.

I looked forever and had the same dilema but the wife said no more spider looking rims so Challenges or GT 7's was my choice.
I will post as soon as I get the car back, car will be down for awhile as SGP take 2 weeks for VB upgrade and Edge Racing take a week for the TC upgrade , then I have to have it retuned with the RC 650 injectors I just bought and the Walbro fuel pump.
This is never ending...

Sounds good, Paul. Yes, it is never ending. I have been thinking about FI among other things. However, I will have to draw a line in the sand, in a matter of speaking, and put an end to this madness before it gets out of hand.

Hehehe . . . I think that I will simply put the monies away towards my retirement car (M5, M3 vert, Cayman S . . . Saw this ride at a Newport Beach pre-release photo shoot, used Porsche 996-997) and keep the G as a daily driver.

Carol and I are going to run down to Monterey in a bit to have dinner at the Monterey Fish Market . . . And in doing so . . . We will seek out a route for a Monterey run. I don't know if we will venture down to Carmel. That might be too long a ride for some people. It will definitely be a coastal route via 1.

Get ready for a Monterey Run, people. It's going to happen!
