windows tinted...!!! ready for the california sun

just got my windows tinted today...
tint works did a great job... 22 in the back 32 in the front... a bit more pricey than other places quoted me but worth it. they took special care for the front windows since it has the roll down feature when you open the car door. they also put the tint all the way to the top of the window so there is no gap. used a special vinyl strip in the back for the dot matrix in the rear window. they even washed the car for me. i recommend it... ask for dan... tell him you got referred through the forum.... he might hook you up a bit....

Every place should put the tint all the way to the top and bevel the edge so it wont peel. Also, if anyone uses anything but vinyl for the matrix, then dont get it done by them. Some like to paint it. How lame is that! I have had my 5% on about 2 years now and love it, especially when the sun starts shinin daily...

I had mine done at Eclipse on Auburn Blvd. The price was ok but they did a pimp azz job. You can't even see an edge on the driver and passenger door windows. No bubbles and they did not get anything on the inside dirty during the install.

I dont trust anyone washing my ride cept me. Were you standing out there watching them to make sure they used to proper towels and everything and making sure they got overy drip outta your side mirrors so when you drive off the water does not get the side of your car wet again?

No they did not wash the car. They just kept everything very clean, no fingerprints etc. It was clean when it went in and clean when it came out. Not all places are as neat as they were, it really showed in their work.

I second the recommendation for Eclipse, they did my Mazda, my buddy's Denali and H2 and they do a great job. I just got my G two weeks ago and I'm headin' to Eclipse ASAP
