RHD Battery Cover

I just got my RHD battery cover from Chad at chad@infinitispecialists. It cost me $25.00 shipped. It took all of 10 minutes to trim and install. This is a great deal for those of you whom have been waiting for an excellent deal like this.

My pics and comments are on post #97.

LOL . . . Daveed is on the money with the trimming. I am uploading pics to the host, now. I'll post up in the DIY section, later. I'll let you folks know when it's there.

Man, I am jealous Andy. I paid 62 bucks shipped from Grubbs! =P I should've waited! =P

Oh and there is another part to cut in order to get it to sit flushed. I cut a notch into the plastic that the battery cover sits on top of. I can take a picture of it if you'd like?

Chris . . . Is that the plastic tab at the upper left hand corner? If that is the piece that you are referring to, I cut the battery cover to fit around that existing piece. If not, please take a pic of it.

So no concerns the added weight will drop the MPG further on our cars?
Kidding! Kidding! Andy, I could have sworn you already had this piece on your car.

Hey Danny,

I had always planned on getting the battery cover . . . Just never got around to it. Our pal, David (Fini), told me that Chad had them on sale for $25.00 and I simply couldn't pass that deal up.
