do tell.....what led you to the conclusion that you had a problem? Can I just take mine to a dealership and they can diagnose it from there?

i was hearing this sort of ticking noise from the engine bay when i would hit 2700rpms. so i took it to the dealer today in the morning. they did a diagnostic and they called me back and told me it was an oil consumption problem.

so what does that mean? Do you need to replace it? Rebuild it? Will they do it for free?

they said they needed to contact warranty and see if they need to replace the whole engine or if they could do it by parts. have to wait till tomorrow since they closed by the time they were done with the diagnosis. im still under warranty so im hoping it will for free.

Todd,

I bought a flex pipe from a local auto store for $25(I had to measure the diameter and length) and had a shop install it for $50. Basically, I spent $475 for a Fujitsubo exhaust with a Fujitsubo Y-Pipe Thanks!

It's pretty close to stock at idle but sounds good at WOT! Its just what I was looking for in an exhaust. Fujitsubo ftw!
