Blackberry 8830 World Edition Smartphone (Verizon)

PRICE: $40 USD shipped to 48 states (via USPS from zip 91730)
LOCATION: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 (Local pick-up welcomed)
CONTACT: PM

Had this phone for less than 2 months. It was an insurance replacement from Verizon after I had a keyboard problem with my previous unit. It looks brand new although I suspect it is an A-stock reconditioned unit. I just picked up a new Motorola Droid so I have no need for this phone. Physical condition is 9.9/10. Does not include the case. Does includes some extras like a car charger, extra battery and 4GB Micro SDHC card. MSRP was $529 when this model was first released. Upgrade to a great Blackberry phone without being committed to a long-term contract! NOTE: Does not include a SIM card. Either, it never came with one or the guy at the store must not have swapped it over to the new unit when I got the phone replaced.

INCLUDES:
Blackberry 8830 World Phone
AC wall charger (120-240VAC) with standard U.S. plug and 3 additional international plugs
2 OEM CX-2 Li-ion 3.7V batteries
Verizon Wireless car power adapter/charger model RIMVPC-1
USB data cable
Tips, hints, and shortcuts manual for Blackberry 8830 World Edition Smartphone
A-DATA 4GB Micro SDHC card

This is a CDMA phone with GSM capability (CDMA 850 / CDMA 1900 / GSM 900 / GSM 1800). Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard, and a ton of other features. This was the best Blackberry phone I've ever owned!

From what I understand, the GSM radio in this Blackberry is set for European and Asian networks (GSM 900 / GSM 1800). I think the North American networks are GSM 850 / GSM 1900. From what I've read, I don't think it will work. Don't take that to the bank as I've only done some cursory research on the topic.

These don't have cameras. Fail in the 21st century of cell phones.
