I just found a G37 motor on Ebay for someone that has a screwed up motor!!!!!

The 37 swap would be a good idea of you blew your stock motor or something and really wanted something new to do.
*hint hint MikeBut to swap just for a new base is kinda pointless unless you go for a full build and you want to squeeze the very last bit of potential out of the VQ37 that you cant get to with the 35. Or if you are just rolling around in cash of course, in which case, by all means stop reading and start buying.
But if you just want a mild build with the 37 motor...again, why waste money on the intermediary step of the new engine and not just pour it into better build of your perfectly fine VQ35 that would out do a mildly built 37? Fiscally speaking, it doesn't make too much sense to me.
If it's just a swap for +30 horses...then, I'm going to make fun of you relentlessly.
You know us teachers...Got cash laying around the house, we have to throw it away just to keep the mansion clean!

only prob witha stroker is they cost about 7k..not inlcuding the labor..your looking at about 10k if not more for the 4.0 upgrade. the g37 swap is an idea..and if i can pick one up for 3k it may be worth the trouble to play with it..its up in the air as for now
^ tru...Demetris' G37 put down roughly 290hp at the wheels with just an intake...mine with a z tube put down 242. For only a 30hp crank difference manufacturer claim, that is a big difference in HP for the motors. That 48hp gain plus how friendly the motors are to turbo upgrades could make the swap worth it...if nothing for the n/a gains. Not to mention the uniqueness of it!
Down the road as I am halfway to 100k...as the motor wears down, I would rather attempt a 37 swap than replace the 35 motor with another...
just some thoughts...
