Anyways, I disagree Jer. The iPod and the iPhone were quite revolutionary. I am just wondering if the iPad is, and I have considered that one day, if I run a practice, I'd like to do my patient visits with a tablet. The problem is, the technology is just not quite yet there yet.

 

Tablets have a ways to go before they'll be viable for everyday use in the medical field (especially in regards to the security of emr/ehr) but you gotta start somewhere...

Well Apple is previewing iPhone OS4.0 thursday. They are most likely set to reveal multitasking and their mobile advertising for apps. I have a hunch that there will be a significant improvemt to the UI of the iPad and iPhone. People are kinda knocking apple but it took me a long time to finally make the plung to a macbook pro/iphone and I say now that I dont think I would ever go back. Everything is so polished. Also, i do not believe jailbreaking is even neccesary with the 3GS and multiasking just slows any phone down once you have several programs open. 95% of people only need it for playing music while emailing or playing a game.

and BTW I got a CF engine cover yesterday. I will post up pics later today.
