Look What I Got Today!
they have to meet standards like "don't break out of the box" and "don't let the wheel fall off"
I'm sure the muteki's are fine. I will probably get Rays if I ever put new wheels on.

Rays Duralumin ones are crap and eventually bend after a while. If you get Rays, get the Volk Racing Formula lugs, but i think those are a waste of 250 bucks really if you have other mods to do.
I run McGard Spline Drive lugs...solid steel, super hardy, rotating tapered base. And relatively inexpensive. Not as flashy as other lugs, but as always for me function > form. Also the regular lugs need a hatched adapter and then there is an actual locking lug as well.
IMO better security and better durability than most lugs out there.
However if I had 250 I wanted to actually blow on lugs I'd do the Rays Formula Lugs for my Volks.

I was choosing between Kics and Rays and ended up with the Kics. I think they are a very nice piece and the finish has held up very well.
I didn't think you got anything special for the extra money besides using a different tool and end cap for the lugs.
