Authorities said crews responding to the emergency had one mission: shoot to kill.

The intent was not to recapture the animals.

This is about 50 miles east of me.
I wish I were in Zanesville with my DPMS AR-15, 7mm Win-Mag, Desert Eagle or 30-06!

With all the cages open and animals escaped it sounds like the animals were intentionally set loose.

This would be crazy. I definately feel bad for the animals. They said they wont go to far from there cages since this isnt there home land. The columbus zoo is helping and trying to catch some of the animals.

i dont feel bad for the animals. I feel bad for the Police officers having to do their duty to protect the population from harm, and then getting pinned the bad guys for because people are narrow minded.

I bet the cops there are having an awesome time 'controlling' those animals.

When else is a average police man going to get the chance to hunt big game animals like this??

I'd love it!
