Hi again John. Nice to know someones on our side. It's been a long uphill struggle from start to finish. From getting insurance to buying parts. It's the only thing putting me off owning one of these fantastic motors. It seems that any performance car specialist I speak to is so keen to get my business until they realise what car I've got.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a bridge (like those long ones over the water near Tampa, Florida) between the UK & USA, we could drive over and see you at one of the G35 meets . It would probably have to be an unrestricted road (ie no speed limits)
Left or right side lane driving

Or maybe have a shicane in the middle where we change lanes.

Also what would Ken Livingston do about all the mustangs and CRV vehicles coming over to visit us

Here's a shot a friend took while we were heading to a twistie run meet.
Notice our normal mph speed limit....

Then he made speed limit better....

Then a Honda guy on a S2k forum snatched it and played some more.
I like that speed limit much better...See you all in a few hours

Anyway, that's what my USDM G35 looks like...badged correctly I might add. Infiniti FTL!!

-edit-
Oh...look what was spotted on our local freeways

And there's a silver one around too. They're here testing the USDM version for 2009 release
Excuse me...I have to go dry off my keyboard now and.......yup......go change my shorts too.

We're lucky in the UK then. Our top speed limit is 70mph, but you can easily do 80 and not get stopped by traffic cops. They get a bit upset though when they see someone doing 100.

As for the new Skyline...
I'd give my wifes right arm for one of those

Our top posted is 70 as well. It depends on the road. We can usually get away with 10 over posted and not get hassled. Yeah...cops here get annoyed with 100 too
And on some roads your speed clocked by aircraft with soon afterward, a cop out of nowhere... ...get the M3, the...M...3.........whew...lol

Haha...never thought of that saying. Better than giving one of our left nuts, but wife's arm, that's brutal

Have a good week-end.

For any 350gt owners,

I have now decided to break my salvaged car which is an '03 (excluding the engine and TT kit of course). All panels are spotless apart from rear quarter passenger side. I will post a full list of items shortly. At this time TDI's in lakeside thurrock are stripping the car of all useful parts ie; Body panels, Auto gear box with SGP upgraded torque convertor, Premium seats unmarked (half leather), All brake components/discs, every light cluster set (all were un-damaged), Radiators including aircon etc, The Bose music system ,plus lots lots more. I will also be selling the engine from out of my replacement car which has only done 30K miles when it arrives late March/early April.

Thought i would let you all get first shot at any parts you may need.

Tom

What wheels were you running ???
Best of luck with your search, still waiting for that pint on southend sea front !!!

Rob, any time for that beer mate. Im down southend most saturday nights, i am with a big bloke that drives a deep red r33 gtst at least till i get my car on the road.
The wheels i had were Impul RS 19" but im chucking them as two were buckled and the other two were slammed into the kerb. I am selling my stock 17" ones which came over on the car, they havn't got a single mark on them, depends what your after really.
Any parts your interested in email Mark at TDI's link below letting him know you know me from one of the forums and he will sort you out with a cheap price. All the car was working 100% if i ever have anything wrong with my cars i always put them straight right away .

I am selling my Injen ti tipped exhaust system (pics below) for £250, it cost me 1k to buy from the states and is less than a year old. I am fitting the APS 3" one to the new car to match the APS TT kit.

Yes like john said i liked the sound of the Injen one which is why i bought it. Unfortunately i need the APS one as it is 3" , the injen one is 2.5" which will not allow me to run 600 bhp which is mine and TDI's target.

John do you know what clutch and flywheel the big bhp owners are running over there as i can't seem to be able to find a decent dual clutch man enough for the job.

Only guy I know personally with TT and madd hp is running with a built 5AT.
Have you checked this section on Driver?
https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-forced-induction-19/
or over on my350Z?
http://www.my350z.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=50
Don't know actual thread links, but know I've come across members with clutch upgrades.

Let me think more...JWT comes to mind but not sure of it's hp/tq limit.
There's always Nismo and there's another JDM make that IS for racing...let me get back with you on that manufacture. Want to say ORC, but don't quote me yet on that.
