Hi Rob. I bought the actuator off Dazz 67. I think he bought it to solve the same problem but found out it wasn't needed. It certainly solved my problem. I can now unlock the door using the remote instead of that ancient technique known as putting the key in the door lock
If you speak to Tom he might have one he can sell you from his car that he's breaking. Hopefully this will solve your problem. If you need step by step instructions on how to change the unit, let me know.
Andy

Tom,Andy has managed to put new acuators to sort out his remote locking problem,I know TDI were unable to help but would they sell me both your old door acuators,I will then have a go at fitting them myself(with the help of Andy) I dont even know what they look like !!!!
Is it ok to give TDI a ring ??

OK i have been brave with the colour (i like it)

This is the car

Adding the following;

Top Secret G-Force front bumper,

Ings LX wings,

Charge speed skirts

Putting my existing Impul rear bumper and spoiler on,

Should end up something like this, Not charge speed skirts shown here.
Plus im using Junction Produce black wheels. 10" 19's back & 9" 19's front

BTW, two bits of good news,
The car already has a dropped suspension (gas type) which saves me a few bob.
Also the car has an Impul exhaust system fitted which i think is the best exhaust sound for single pipe like the stock system. I will be putting this up for sale as i can't use it on my car due to it being F/I.

Here is the exhaust and sound clip

Tom,
I have been on to TDI and they suggest selling me both doors rather than taking out the acuator,I think its because of the time involved ,can you let me know how much you want for them, and the over lay carpets,if they are still there.
Many thanks Rob

White is the new black !!!Its one of the best colours,I put a deposit on a white one when I first started to look, changed my mind, but not because of the colour.
Easy to keep clean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It looks a beauty

Hey all!!
My name is OJ ( no not like Simpson ) and I've been in here for some time. Owner of I think the only G35 to be labeled as an infiniti in the country .

Will phone TDI tomorrow and more than likely accompany reelybroke on Saturday to get the window motors.

Started my own thread as this is a looong thread!!

The owner of this great site should really break down the regions further so we can start topics under the "uk" region, but thats just may opinion

This is my car (sorry haven't got a more recent one ):

Hey everyone,

New here and have been browsing through the forum and have noticed that quite a few people have these 350GTs in the UK now. Proud to say that I will be getting one soon enough too! Got a couple qs tho..

Been looking at these for quite a while now, and was just wondering if anyone has got their SatNav to work? like the actual oem screen & the buttons.. i know there are a few work arounds by using a remote etc but the oem slide screen is really slick!

And last but not least.. what insurance company is everyone using? I suspect I'll have fairly high quotes seeing as im 20.. and yes.. im seriously hoping the 350GT is worth all this hard earned money! saying that i was also wondering how much everyone paid for their GTs? (i know its abit personal but would appriciate it as the price range for this car is just ridiculous! from £12k-27!?)

Thanks! Appriciate the help.

Syrus.

Thanks! I know what you mean. I was lucky to find this car as I have always preferred black.

That said the I've never seen one in white or with Ings LX wings!

have a look at this companies conversion:
http://www.soarer.tv/Skyline/

You could also contact:
http://www.cartronics.co.uk/

I'm sure they could do it but specialise in dashboard replacement systems.

A plan has been quoted as having the best offers but i suspect this is regional as they were quite bad when they quoted me. I have almost 10 years no claim and it still came in at around £1.8K! Got them down to £1.2K in the end. In the end it really DOES depend on where you live and were you store the vehicle.

But being that you are 20 and being that you are buying a performance car and being that you'll be looking at the top band rate for insurance.... I would get it insured under your dad's / uncle's / < A Nother with X years no claims and that is old > name . I know most companies do not give 2nd drivers any no claims but it sure is cheaper!

Hope that helps
