My apologies again to RKS and Anoop for the delay in shipping their pads. It was due to a family emergency, and I've communicated with both of them off-line. With overnight shipping, they received their pads today, just in time for Christmas!

Jack Stand Lift Range Question

Hey All

Quick question regarding jack stands. I am about to go buy jack stands so I can drain the transmission pan (as well as other maintenance stuff)

I'd like to know what is the general consensus regarding the lifting range of jack stands everyone uses. The ones at my local Pep Boys have a lifting range that maxes out at 17" - Will this be enough to comfortably move underneath my G35? It isn't lowered, it is just a standard G35 Sedan.

I have been searching around and couldn't find the answer. Thanks in advance!!

I just shipped the last set from the current batch earlier this week, and won't be able to start a new one for a couple of weeks. We just moved, and there are a bunch of house projects that have to take priority.

A new batch takes about 10 days from start to finish, between casting and machining. So we're looking at the end of Feb/beginning of March.

PM sent. I'm interested in a set of 4 of these too. I just picked up the Harbor Freight 3 ton steel jack stands today and the HF rubber pads for the stands. The Harbor Freight rubber pads weren't as good as I expected them to be - these seem like a much better and safer solution.

FYI, I tried the HF stands and pads with my Altima and my Murano and they worked fine. (Yes, I am one of "those people". "Who let that Nissan guy post here!?!" ;-) ) There was no marking on the cars and they were stable as all get out. I had the Murano up on all four and was wrestling with the exhaust and a new trailer hitch and the car was very stable. I still want these custom ones but since they appear too no longer be available I wanted to share with you folks that the HFs work fine.
