Gents,
With the h-tech z springs...will the rear springmounts need to be modified/chopped in some way in order to match the height of the front? What exactly needs to be done?
Also, I read the z springs are stiffer so will the ride quality be worse running z springs over g springs?
Thanks

And yes higher spring rate means the ride quality will be more harsh, less comfy, but the car will handle better
I ran z stechs for over a year, it was slightly stiffer but my girlfriend didn't complain. She started complaining when I upgraded to coilovers lol

Especially if u do the rear spring mount mod.
Some guys don't run a kit up front because it is so much more expensive, but it will eventually pay for itself over the years.
BTW...SPCs are a real quality kit for the rears (get the toe bolts too).

The reason most people go with the Z and not G stechs is because of better spring rates.
The spring rate of the G stech rears is way too soft, IMO.
It's weaker than oem.
And if your coming from a coupe with oem sport suspension you'll def want the z stechs.
How many miles do you have on the oem shocks?
If you have over 70k then I'd consider swapping out the oem shocks/struts with some tokico HPs when doing the springs.
Very affordeable alternative to other more pricey shock setups, but still good build & performance capabilities.
