Thinking about painting rear bumper

So, as the title states, i am thinking of painting part of my rear bumper either glossy or matte black. Thoughts, anyone? Do you know of anybody who has this?
Here is a quick Photoshop of what it could look like.

i love how the rear valence overlay gives a sense that our saggy @SS is raised a bit in the middle.

We painted mine with matte black cost under $20...I'm not a fan of overlays.

how hard is it to paint? any DIY for painting something like that? i'm assuming mask off the entire bumper, wetsand, primer, and then spray light coats on it?

mask it off scruff it with a green kitchen scrub pad, primer spray, light coats. make sure to tape from the channnel out to make it clean don't forget to wrap up the exhaust. paint all the way underneath.

I would suggetst removing the bumper and not painting it on the car. You will get overspray everywhere, and it will be hard to get the paint even in the area over the tips
