... Finally got my Nikon D40 SLR... although I have to exchange it tomorrow, it has a dark spot in every picture near the center of the frame

Resolution is incredible!

the closeup quality of that pic is awesome. nice camera and nice contacts.

Dude I know.... I didn't get outta work until frickn 8:30 when we closed at 6pm... By the time I got home and ate it was close to 10pm and I was just beat to death tired

I am sorry man... I wanted to see you and your "G" bad but I had to work again on Sunday also and I woulda been in an off mood...

Again.... sorry man...

How did you guys make out?... How was the show?

Your dark spot is probably just dust that can be easily removed by you or a camera shop if you got it locally.

Nice pic, the d40 is a great affordable slr. I sell them all day and am confident in the ability of the d40 and d40x. Though i prefer the cannon 40d =P
