Im in the same boat as you Woady,

i have same Wheel sizes as you but i dont want it to be to strectched just want a mild stretch.

Quote: so since most of us east coasters arent into the stretched scene, ive got some newbie questions...

for a 9.5 and 10.5-11 wheel, what would be a mild stretched tire size? (yes i know tire brands are diff but an average would be nice) i drive pretty hard so its still hard for me to think about going to less rubber but i do like the tucked look. so if i was going with a 20x9.5/10.5-11 setup, i would think maybe 235/30/20 and 265/30/20?

also how do these types of setups affect your speedometer settings? usually as long as you stay within 3% of overall stock height you dont have problems. personally ive always been within 1% when i change from stock.

how hard are the people with these setups driving? i know this look is popular in the drift scene but is it practical for spirited street driving? here in fl we mostly have long stretches but i usually push it around corners when i can.

well yah you do have to be a lot more careful with stretched tires, some people like it some don't, when i get my wheels ill stretch them, it will make me slow down, im not into driving too fast as much as i was.. unless we call 80 constant speed on freeway fast
