Aggressive Wheels & Stretched Tires: Post 'Em Up! [[Some NSFW]]
Well, I'll let out what I was gonna do. Super shiny copper barrels (inner and outer) with polished face...maybe hints of IP? Dunno but copper/polish was what I was thinkin of doing to match what i planned to do for the engine bay which was pretty much everything copper with hints of polish.
thats where im around on the fronts i think +3 or 4.
They told me 9.5 +12 will clear brembos.Found out the hardway, So threw on 15mm spacers. -3 and had to drive home with front slammed plowing the ground so I can have enough neg. camber lol.
I'll be working on the coils again today. Hopefully I can get the rear down lower, If i can, going half inch down in the front matchin the rear, and ready for alignment. I can use more Neg. camber in the front.

Chris, with a 225/35 and fenders rolled up front (not even fully), I ran a 9.5 +3 and was still tucking slightly. It was when I first got my T1S wheels.
Here's a pic for reference. Camber is prob at -2.5 (didn't have upper A arms at the time, so whatever it was from just natural camber.

i ran nexens on my first set of wheels and for the money, i guess i couldnt complain. they were terrible in wet weather but on dry pavement, they were just fine

i don't know bro I've had Nankang NS2's for 3 years and just switched over to Nexen N3000's been riding on them for few months now..
the Nankangs were a LOT louder, and also the Nankangs ran a bit smaller than the Nexens...
so I guess if you want a quieter slightly bigger running tire go with the Nexen, and they're also well known by some drifters to last a lot longer than most other cheaper tires out there.
i can definitely notice the wear difference between the two, i would have already had tire wear by now if i had the kangs on, the nexens nothing visible yet, also the loud tire rumble isn't there at all like it used to be with the Nankangs
I still think they're both made in the same factory though due to the almost identical tread pattern and both say Made in Korea. The compound is definitely different between the two however.

^^^
Makes me wonder if I should take the center caps off, might make it look better. I think more poke on that car would be perfect. Love how they look on the Z's I've seen, that's how I wanna do mine.
I've ran 10.5's in the front and 11's in the rear...you get a horrible turning radius lol, but then again my negative camber adds to that.

Sick nonetheless.
yea it's HD lip but paint chips and i got tired of touching it up every few weeks, so I taped with hurricane tape which is weaved like a carbon fiber pattern and is some extremely strong and resilient tape. I bought the tape at Lordco, but I don't know if you guys got Lordco in Toronto, I couldn't find a Lordco the year I stayed in Toronto.... but Napa or Home Depot should have it for sure though
here's a close up

Nexen just signed a contract with wal-mart a few months ago and from what my tire guys know they will soon only be available at wal-mart... They are made in South Korea and tend to bubble due to thin sidewall builds. They Separate quickly.
Nankang is still the Nankang rubber company independently, made and exported from Taiwan, not Korea.
The reason their tread patterns are similar is because discount tire brands buy old tread patterns from larger companies that have retired the design. If I'm not mistaken the N3000 and NSII are both old Yoko designs.
