Aggressive Wheels & Stretched Tires: Post 'Em Up! [[Some NSFW]]
^ ya i know what you mean, i personally didn't give a **** about the noise either, but when i sold my old wheels with the nankangs mounted, 10 minutes later after the guy mounted them on his car and called me goes, yo why the fck are these so loud, i'm like you had michelins on your car before man, top notch tires, ahah, the two will not compare
i gotta say the Nankangs are durable and tough, i havent heard of anyone saying the sidewalls bubbled on them, the tires do run smaller than others so i wouldnt stretch too much on their 30 series
i personally you know i took that long *** road trip from Vancouver to Toronto on 35 and 30 series NS'2s and you can bet i hit all kinds of massive potholes and gone over all types of bumps on my 4000km + journey, even hit a patch of dirt highway completely unpaved in Manitoba...
the Kangs held up like champs, not a dent or bubble in sight, then they sat in a garage in Toronto for 7 months i was expecting all types of flat spots, but when i had shipped the car back to Vancouver again, tires were all good surprisingly...
they're tough tires i would buy them again, but i dont mind the noise like most people would though

Man I love the Nexens bro. They have a very nice stretch and they also have good grip.. Another thing is that the Nexen's have good tire life not to mention they smoke a lot...lol
Man def let him know about the wheels, and let him know don't be scared to make me an offer, I might just take it... That goes for everyone...
I figured out today that, I can never slam the front as low as I want. My Awd drags the frame on flat ground. Fml.

Chris, with a 225/35 and fenders rolled up front (not even fully), I ran a 9.5 +3 and was still tucking slightly. It was when I first got my T1S wheels.
Here's a pic for reference. Camber is prob at -2.5 (didn't have upper A arms at the time, so whatever it was from just natural camber.

Is it REALLY bad? I'm running 35/30 series, and coming from Falkens..usually I only run nicer tires but couldn't resist the low cost.
yea it's HD lip but paint chips and i got tired of touching it up every few weeks, so I taped with hurricane tape which is weaved like a carbon fiber pattern and is some extremely strong and resilient tape. I bought the tape at Lordco, but I don't know if you guys got Lordco in Toronto, I couldn't find a Lordco the year I stayed in Toronto.... but Napa or Home Depot should have it for sure though

That tape is pretty dope looking. I was wondering what I could do to complete the bottom of my inven, I'm either leaning towards this or just guna bite the bullet and scoop a cf splitter. Nice innovation tho Good to see ppl are trying different things!
I'd recommend 235 and 255
k, thxs for the advice. Im going with a true coil setup so i should be able to get my toe in spec.
