Off topic, but I personally wish this sort of thing happened more often to dog owners. I don't get it. Why do people let dogs ride in their cars if they care so much about them? If you get into a car accident the dog will likely be killed. Maybe this sort of thing would cause people to use carriers or just leave the dog home.

That thought has crossed my mind. I don't drive like an *** to begin with, but I make sure I take extra precautions when I have my dog in my car. And my parents have a Boxer as well, so whenever I drive to my parents home about 2 hours away, I always bring my dog with me. That's about the only time she's in my car.
