With the stock head unit, you got a high-low converter right? Does your subs only catch the lows? or the mid and highs?

no high-low converter, the signal coming from the HU is low for the bose amp. just tapped into the rear right and left pre-amp outs

What! really? lol i got a LOC and I appreciate the additional tuning you get from having one.... matters if you care that much... I guess i do

So it only catches the low? How do i get my subs to catch the MIDS & HIGHS as well?

the voltage from the output of the headunit is low, which is good because higher voltages cause distortion if you re-amplify them, which would have been the case if i tapped into signal after the amp.

to get your subs to catch the mids and highs (which i wouldn't recommend on subs) all you need to do is tune your amps low-pass filter to not cut off higher frequencys. check your speaker's frequency response and tune the low-pass filter no higher than the speaker can handle otherwise it will distort.
