+1 it takes me about 4 hours just to wash / wax the car... and clean the interior... speaking of which, that might be a good idea for something to do tomorrow morning...

 

yeah. it took me around 9 hours to apply 2 polishes ( intermediate then light to remove hazing and lighter swirls left over), wax, sealant, and other interior and exterior parts...

and that was moving at a fast pace.

It took me two days on my moms old saturn ion to remove all the swirls, rids and scratches and that working with Hard clear coat. Well also did the engine and interior too.

 

ok I understand that everyone does a detail differently and takes a different amount of time but he was very happy with his car and to me, the customer is what matters.

I thank everyone for their contructive critisim and I will be sure to learn from what you are telling me on my next detail

 

not bad... if you really want to show off your work.. post 50/50 pics...

im not trying to bash your work or anything but here's a local of mine that does amazing detailing...don't worry.. he's all the way in canada so he won't be stealing any of your customers anytime soon

That looks great! I will be sure to do that next time just to show how much better the car came out. However, the swirls on his car weren't THAT bad as you have in those pics lol. Next time, I will be using a P/C
