Hmmm, interesting. I don't have that helper spring and as far as I know I have the GR+.

I wonder what the helper spring is used for. I'm guessing to help with dampening?

Worst comes to worst you can raise the collar where the spring is, make it a lil stiffer, and it will raise the height a little, but it will also give you some more room to adjust the very bottom collar to bring that up to make the entire thing go lower. You could also probably remove the 2nd collar and gain a good 1/4"

Ya I am thinking about increasing the preload a little and ditching the locking rings. If that does not get me where I want to go, I will contact them about a shorter main spring, or ditching the helper spring. These are the gr+pro's btw

Ah, I just have the gr+ not the pros. I'm thinking of seeing if they make anything stiffer than 8k for the rear, going with 12k so when it converts to the oem setup I'd be in the 20k range. It's still a smooth ride so I wouldn't mind doin that. I don't wanna do the fronts because it's a b*tch to put back in for some reason. Had so much trouble doing it last time.

I remember when I got my Stance Gr+ and I did not know that the bottom of the coilover (part that attaches to the car) Spins up.. Maybe you did not spin that bottom piece all the way up.. Just a thought.. But you should be able to go pretty damn low, I can lay frame on the ground if I wanted..

Oh and is it the true coilover setup?

Royal,

yes this is the true coilover and I threaded it all the way until the bottom mount is touching the helper spring.

^ Then you should have just ordered the gr+ I told stance the other day that they need to make the springs from 200mm to 175mm on the gr+pro then with the helper spring it would be almost the same as the gr+ in terms of height adjustability.

I ordered the 150mm :O

Nice....I wonder if they make anything stiffer than 8k rear spring rates...They come with 5k and I noticed just a little difference with the 8k. I seriously want 12-15k in the rear..can't imagine what that would equate to on the OEM coilover setup type lol

20k for the rear, meaning it would be somewhere in the 30k range?
