This is one crazy build. I hope you are not one of those people that FULLY MOD their car and than part-out or sell it.

danny, can you shed some more light on the plastic welding you had done on the battery covers...i've never heard of this process, but i really like the idea of smoothing over everything into 1 large piece...do you think bondo/FG would hold up or is this the only way to achieve what you have done?

ahah for the right price its for sale... I would just start over with a GTR.

Drew the process is really just melting the plastics together to bond them together. I would not suggest fiberglassing the plastic, or bondo to fill the gaps as it will crack eventually. There are other products out there that can achieve this. Such as panel bond, and other plastic glues etc. I like this way because it becomes one piece then you do some minor sanding, filler, prime and good to go like a factory piece.

Car is back in the garage, going to get working on putting the interior back together, dash, carpet, sunroof, etc....

Looks awesome....the gussets for the roll cage look great. Glad you chose to color match the cage to the car. I always thought that was a classier look than painting them an accent color. Keep up the good work!! Can't wait to see this completed project.

Well technically the car is 2 tone, black interior, green exterior.
