History of my G = G ZILLA Repost from National G Club about 6 months ago...decided to share to all. lol

Since yall booty jacked the other thread....

here ya go....

So here is the history of G ZILLA via photos.... small commentary...so grab some pop corn...this is going to be long...

New Years Eve 2005 I picked up the car with about 9K miles on it.

I hit a pot hole on day 3, so I bought these wheels.20 inch TSWs



Then came the Skyline and Nissan badging... then I got blue headlight covers...you know me...I have to be different...lol That was so terrible I dont even have pics....DO NOT EVER get blue headlight covers! LOL

Then I went with interior matched rims (self painted along with a few others rims on the forums) I some how met up with Davidv (my350) and started AutoCrossing every other weekend. Man, I learned the car so much doing this. I highly recommend Autocrossing to the G35 newbs. Again Interior color matched rims was different, but I liked them alot... SuperG was like... " hmm not my thing but they fit your personality"...lol. Thats when I decided I would go with the STILEN SC as my 1st choice of FI, SuperG is the man, the myth, the G35 Lengend!





The auto crossing lead and just random drives in the car...those random drives lead to the first Late Night Run!


NOTE GHOST30

I am starting to get more and more active on the forums (mostly my350z) hanging out with 90% Z folks. Skyline drives and Columbia meets... its on like donkey kong!

So I decide to host my first meet....EPIC FAIL, but FTW because I met Pete and Rob... you may have heard of them... PoloraBear and Ghost30... we were the only ones who showed up out of like 15 folks on the list.






NOTE: all the cars are NA and stock looking FTW and FTL..lol
Now the three cars above are all boosted....man life is so funny sometimes.... we have come a VERY LONG DIFFICULT BUT REWARDING ROAD.

I get jacked for two sets for rims and all my tools and some SC parts!


They busted the window in my Baby and steal the freshly painted Gold TSWs and my New NEVER DRIVEN ON WORKS... but forum members quickly spotted them and they were recovered! G35 Boards FTW!



After I get jacked...I am humbled back to OEM 19s and they are awesome, didnt realize how much the 20s slowed me down. So I then decide to take the car to another level and actually put something meaningful on the car vs parts dealers that dont pay me and money like most folks. Insurance was like "HOW MUCH FOR THE RIMS?!" LOL



I put some bronze tint on the windows (Robbie aka Driven1 on My350z) and had to switch it up again.


Early Bird Photoshoot! To help me feel better about losing 7K wheels, the models helped too!.




Yes that is Ghost30 and PolarBeezie!

Hosted like 4 or 5 Skyline drives a year.. a few 211 runs and I kept them all small, secretive, and full tilt. Yes I got a 62 in a 35, no points on fed property or jail but I got a $200 ticket that I was happy to pay.





I start getting nice angles on all my pictures from being at Skyline Drive so much and talking soooo many freggin pictures...



I am at everymeet...sideways sometimes...lol from the Z crew I meet Bam Bam (GTR) Mike D, Alberto, ibkarlito, Z ***** F'in Ruggern DC, and many others... I was like one of the first FT customers... in daves garage at his house before the shop was even built/leased. lol

This took me a tad longer than 4 hours...how about 2 days two people with power tools...ended up cutting all the seized bolts off the car with a dremel

Drop car off July 2009. Pete and I both have a stock bumper. I did have a NISMO for a breif period of time though (see Lees car now..lol).

Cant forget Drift Nirvana once a month! LOL





Everyone asked why I didnt have side skirts on.. hmm they were being painted yo!

tails are now overlayed thats to G 30 FI!

 

So sad. The car is not daily driven, rarely at the track, but still fun as hell to drive. 95K miles in 5 years! I cant complain other than buying tires once a year due to 30K on the Falken 452.

Get some new mesh for the front bumper, something black.. or get rid of the front bumper all together, it's the only thing I'm not feelin on your car.

 

does this mean you're getting rid of that front end? i liked the rest of the car, just not that...

 

^ naaa is a company car and we use it for display purposes. I have my second son coming in June, just got a Pathfinder so the G stays, but getting to the track is going to be hard.

I guess I could build the bottem end but with 400RWHP has been fun so far!

Yes the grill was supposed to be black, painters error. He is almost an hour away so i get it to him at some point. its been a year in july though...lol


I love when folks with stock cars have such an opinion. The G35 is a nice car, but why look like everyone else? If you took the time to post I hope you took the time to see that I specifically do things to be against the norm. I will not ever own a pair of timberlands nor rock a set of VOLKs. They are so EVERYONE ELSE. I aim to be differnet. I see you rolling stock-like... Thats not me. I went Vortech because everyone claims TTs are better. Well I save 8K and run as fast or faster than stock block TT set ups and for 8k the ones that are faster...I cant justify the 8K price tage difference.

I appreciate your opinion, but i wish you had a moded car to back up such an agressive comment, but since your stock-like... whatever. lol

Very few can pull off a GTR Front. I did, and even those that hate that bumper are like daum, I like it. Im not mad or upset so dont get into a pissing match with me. I dont really care..lol

true true but daum man these rich azz IT dudes in dc have the INVEN, NISMO, Greddy, KS, TS bumpers all plaid out.

only thing left is the $900 Charge Speed. Since I have the rear. When I change in the next year or two ill get that!

Car is Blue now, still many things wrong, its going back today. but these are pics after my tocobell run last night! They are crappy pics, I dont need to be told that..lol
