A guy in this thread has a CF hood and looks pretty darn close to what you're looking for.

Third, it's lighter (up high, where it matters). My bet is it corners significantly better due to a lower CG.

Props to the hardtops.

I would like to know why having a sunroof and being 6'2 is bad. I am 6'3 and wear a 30 inseam...I am all torso damn it. I have always thought there was more head room with a moonroof. I always have the shade open though. Is there less head room in a car with a moonroof? Am I buying the wrong cars. Every car I have ever had has had a sunroof cause I thought they had more head room.

You know what is crazy, in my 26 yrs old and been 6 ft + for 12 of them I have never rode in a car that did not have a sunroof that was not an SUV or crossover type of vehicle. WTF

This is the second time i saw a G35 coupe without sunroof, few months back i saw one silver G parked in front of Muvico theater without a sunroof as well.

I think painting the roof black espeically on a IP would look sick..

Not that this addresses the exact measurement of extra headroom but...Interior volume with a sunroof is 84.9 cubic feet...86.6 cubic feet without the sunroof. That extra 1.7 cubic feet has to come from somewhere This piece of almost useless trivia comes from my 2004 model brochure.

Many years from now I will be at some car show with my old coupe trying to convince someone that this a very rare optioned G35 coupe that came without a sunroof..."here is my original bill of sale."

i have a 05, 6mt strippie in diamond graphite. i've never had a car with a sunroof so i don't really know what i'm missing (i've a car with a T-top, but i never used it). No sunroof gives better torsional rigidity, and less weight. Not that i'm ever gonna seriously race the G, but racing is an option.

weird... my hardtop has tilt wheel, auto climate control, power black leather seats, hids, aero package, 6mt with sport tuned suspension basically I ordered the car the way I exactly wanted it to be...or did I already mention that.

The sunroof and its supporting rails take up a bit of space -- maybe an inch to an inch and a half -- while a car without a sunroof just has the roof, insulation, and the headliner. I'm 5'10'' and with my helmet on I usually slide back the sunroof cover and shift in my seat towards the center of the car to give myself a bit more room.

is your tilt wheel automatic (i.e. electronic) or manual? cause you can tilt the wheel on mine, but i have to do it manually. since i am the only one driving, it doesn't even matter. Mine has auto climate control, but it doesn't have dual climate control, does yours? My seats are full power, i have hids, and i don't like the way the aero package looks so i skipped that. Mine has 6mt and like all 6mt's it has the sport suspension with 19" wheels. That is what is called a strippie. Zero options.

HHEHHEHE im not trippin i bought the car for 22Gs with only 6K miles...

Wow...no leather. I thought that was only available in Japan. I have the JDM Skyline 350 GT brochure from a few years ago...but never knew it was an option here.

Anyway...just got my 06 hardtop earlier this week. I already have two RX7s with sunroofs hehe
