As much as I love it here in SoCal, seeing that first picture makes me want to pack up and be your neighbor . Can you imagine getting out to see THAT view every day? Wait... you don't have to imagine, that's what it's like.

What is the average price for houses such as yours over there?

You ever get out to the Shorebird in the Outrigger Reef? I bartended there for a couple of years in the early 90's. Had some goooood times with the tourists out there....sighhhhh....

Did they ever finish the construction on the Likelike highway?

 

damn, SoCal is gotta be pretty nice too. things to do, places to drive. you can only drive around an island so many times before you lose your mind (lived here my whole life btw). where i live, which is one of the cheapest places on the island, houses go for $400,000 and up for a 3 bedroom. you can probably find a real fixer-upper for less, but will involve some work. average houses on the island of oahu now is still over $650,000 for a 3-4 bedroom. $650,000 in most places in the states.....and you're living hella large......hawaii? average @$$ 3-4 bedroom on a small lot.......sad!

haven't been to the shorebird....just turned 21 in january so i'm trying to hit up the bar scene, etc......too many establishments....too little time. anyways, the contruction here is seriously NEVER ENDING. potholes everywhere, gas prices crazy high, etc; if it wasn't for the beach, view in my first pic (lol), school, work and friends i'd be long gone.
