the large burnt tips of the hks (or XO2) just don't look right at the same location as stock... imo, they should stick out a little, about to the point where the burnt part ends

hero.... you seem to always have a "comment" about the XO2... we all know it. Im sorry that I dont have an HKS to please you, or anyone else on the HKS bandwagon. To me, an exhaust tips should sit EXACTLY where the stock did. If the tips stick far out, they look like RICE. But thats just my subjective opinion. Whenever I see an exhaust that sticks out further than stock, I think it looks really cheap, cheesy, and tacky. Retaining the stock appearance keeps its clean IMHO. But to each their own... thats why its a forum. Some people just cant help but to keep making "comments" about the XO2.

it's never been about pleasing me. your mod should please yourself only. that's why it's your car.

i can't argue against that. like you said, it's your opinion. you have yours thoughts about where the tips should sit and i have mine.

i think this is a nice example of where the tips should sit. what's the point in having burnt tips if you don't show them off a little? again, jmho.

just curious as to why burnt tips, which in no way resemble a stock appearance, are not rice...yet tips that stick out about 1" are rice.

I was thinking of purchasing some HFCs. I wonder how much louder yours is than mine. From the video it didn't seem like too much of a difference. The X02 is pretty lound by itself.
