I got the 3/8" Motordyne spacer installed... gawd damn.. it felt good!! More power! I would say that it is more respond to the RPM and quick pick up. I will be getting a dyno this Saturday and see what happens.

I installed my 3/8" MD Plenum Spacer this afternoon......DAMN! This thing rocks! I can feel the power way down low around 2500 rpm all the way to redline. I am extremely satisfied with my Group Buy purchase of this Motordyne Spacer. It was packaged beautifully. I would suggest that you leave the 4mm studs in the bottom of the spacer to assist in lining up the upper plenum to the lower when assembling. This allowed me to line everything up just right. Then I removed the studs with a 4mm socket I bought at Sears. All the bolts were lined up properly. I used my new Sears in/lbs torque wrench to tighten all bolts to 84 in/lbs or 7ft/lbs. Took her out for a test drive and came back with a HUGE grin on my face.

Have you posted the results? I'm curious about the before and after numbers.

jjelly - before and afters show 8 - 12RWHP, depending on the car, I think 9 or 10 is pretty common result.

I installed a 3/8" after having high flow cats and a Z tube installed. It sure seemed like it added more power across the RPM range. I was just curious to see some comparisons from a few people (he did say that he was going to dyno, so I wanted to glance at the graphs).
In my opinion, I think it's a great mod, and one of the best bang for the buck quotients out there. I'm wondering a little bit about my A/F ratio, but not too worried.
No more mods for me unless the clutch goes out--then I'll probably go with a lightweight flywheel while the clutch is being changed out anyway.

Just installed my spacer last night and i must say,

I LOVE THIS THING!!! I can definitely hear and feel the pull at 3K-4K rpms.

Great customer service from Tony. He even replied to my emails this weekend.

Just installed the 3/8" spacer on my 2004.5 sedan auto tranny yesterday. This is my first mod so I guess I'm not a virgin anymore.

I didn't notice a huge difference. There does seem to be a slight growl that wasn't there before. I can't say there was a definite increase in performance. I'll have to drive the car around some more. I actually noticed a bigger difference when I did the ecu reset (battery/brake method) last week.

I'm planning on installing a z-tube and K&N air filter and the 10 wire grounding kit from GroundingGear. I'm wondering if my stock intake may be too restricting and that's why I didn't "feel" the same gains others have posted.

Overall, the install went well. My biggest problem was not knowing what the MAF and throttle body was. One more picture pointing these items out would really help a newbie out. I also had a little problem trying to align all the bolts up through the plenum upper, gasket, spacer.
