shooter, can you post closeup pics of the engine mounting point? Have you figured out the adjustability of the damper? Have you noticed any benefit yet? I will install my damper this weekend. Thanks

amg35........

first pic
i attached the damper to the fender wall.....see the wire loom and the cable tie? pull the cable tie out of the pre-drilled hole in the fender wall and use a 7/16 inch drill bit and open that hole up.....that will allow just enough room to install the first screw...reach underneath the fender, above the front tire and you can thread the nut on.......you can see in the lower right hand side of the pic the damper is touching a screw head

second pic
shows the curved bracket installed on the engine and the adjustment of the damper.....install the damper, bracket and both provided screws before final tightening....this way you can adjust the curved bracket in the correct position.....the damper adjustment knurled nut is screwed all the way in towards the body and the eye screw is adjusted out away from the body as required.

third pic
assembled damper

fourth pic
i had to remove a small corner piece of the engine cover to make room for the curved bracket....i used a dremel...i lined it all up and marked the engine cover with a pen....it was very easy to cut the plastic

fifth pic
final install

i will continue to test the damper and adjustment......it is not hurting anything at the moment, so it will stay on for a while at least.....

How difficult would you consider this install? I'm considering the Stillen engine damper.
