I was on the phone with Andy this morning as he was making his runs in the new G. I was impressed with the sound of his exhaust as andy ran through the gears. In between the giggles that Andy made while driving, I can tell his exhaust had a different tone. The tone was deeper and louder and I can just imagine what it will sound like after the HKS install. I can't wait to check out his ride and I hope there are some similar mods for my 04 6MT sedan. Where's the love for the sedan owners?

I'm not one who likes to post just for the sake of posting but I felt compelled to reply to your review. Not only is it an excellent review, there is enough passion and emotion that I feel as though I were with you on your drives. I live in San Jose and know where you drove. Anyway, I am anxiously awaitng the release of the MREV because I now NEED IT! Thanks for the review. Dean

 

Congratulations on the new ponies Andy!

I wish somebody would disclose what this new mod is- I also wish they would engineer a similar one for the auto's. I am holding off on my plenum spacer/ISO upgrade until I know for sure what this mod is, and see if there is a way to retrofit it to an auto.

I'll make it so there is a range of options for a range of prices. From ~500-600.
This way everyone will be happy.

 

How are you guys getting to test out this mod? I live about 20 minutes from motordyne, i'd love to get on this thing.

As Motordyne approaches its official release of MREV and the Sport Z Magazine article arrives at the stands . . . I am positive that Tony and all of the other related parties will be discussing the new MREV mod quite openly . . . All of your questions will be eargerly answered.

Then everyone can decide whether or not this is the real deal, if you haven't already . . . And whether this new mod meets your additional power needs.

I simply happened to be at the right place at the right time.

 

Well, it's been one day short of a week since I installed Motordyne's new MREV. I must say . . . The post install excitement is still there.

I am learning more about this mod, as I drive. The new founded torque kicks in at some 3700 rpm, at least that is where I notice it without question.

Taking a nice long scenic drive this weekend. I didn't think that I would still be so excited to drive my G after some 8200 miles.

Does this work in conjunction with the Turbonator?

No, it's incompatible with the Turbonator. However, it IS compatible with the Type-R badging......which has been proven to add 50 hp alone.
