Its all because of this thread. His posts have been deleted BTW.

I guess he posted a link or informed one of the other posters of a DIY for the Oil cooler kit on My350Z that would save money over buying the overpriced kit from GTM. GTM then complained to the mods and he got banned until 4-4-09 and can't even log in to view because they listed him as an abusive poster. They deleted his posts on the thread too.

That's because he is an abusive poster. He constantly bashes products/vendors without backing it up with solid proof.

Its called an opinion, what we cant have opinions anymore because it someone else doesnt like it? and from what i was told about the thread, he was giving info on a cheaper way of doing the same job.

I'm talking about his constant bashing of Uprev's Osiris tuning package. He would always bash it and to my knowledge he has never used it. When called out numerous times as to why "it sucks and it shouldn't even be used for an NA car" he would never explain why.

 

Its to bad they deleted his posts, so we all could form our own opinions. but if he was abusive in his words we wont ever know.

 

Read the na build thread on the Z forum. Lawchick! LOL. I would have been fine with him not getting banned because the owage that results is priceless. But he brings it on himself.

 

everyone has their opinion on other products. I've heard a lot of people talk trash about the Kinetix manifold, but others love it. I hear people talk trash about all different types of turbo kits compared to others and they dont get banned or have anything to back it up. Most of the people who talk trash don't own the parts they complain about.

 

You don't understand it was a FORSALE thread not a, "Here's a product whats your opinion" thread....

 

Look, I know some people like/dislike certain products..fine, but anytime someone would ask anything about Osiris he would chime in and ignorantly say "it sucks". He would never back up his claim. My point is he wasn't very productive nor did he bring much to the table when relevant information was requested. If someone asks a question I try to back it up with as much data/first hand experience as possible.

 

IMHO, there is a big difference in having an opinion and flat out being incorrect. (which he often was)
