Taking the G the Sawgrass Infiniti Tomorrow.

I need to get the rip on the drivers seat repaired, and the dome light repaired.

They said i needed the 30,000 mile service. They were going to do a throttle body flush and some other stuff...

Should I let them do it?

im pretty sure i can do most of that stuff for a fraction of the cost

throttle body flush? i never had 1 in 68k miles on my g. all i ever did was regular oil changes. gilley helped me replace my differential fluid around 50k miles. and i took it in for a full transmission flush because i had an auto.

All their going to do on the throttle body flush is clean it w/simple green, charge you for shop supplies and disposal fees. On the rip on your driver seat, make sure it's rip at the seam or they won't warranty it.

I had a tear on the side of my driver's seat that wasn't at the seam, but they still replaced it under warranty, 'cuz it was obvious it just gave way and not some object that caught and tore it.

Here is what I got:

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...e-service.html

Then they called to see how my oil change service went and I said it was great but that I didn't understand why the 30k service was so much, that all I wanted to know about was what is REQUIRED of me to ensure warranty wouldn't become void. He said only basic oil changes were required, the other things were "recommended".
