RADAR detector help!!

One doesn't need a high IQ or high tech device such as the V1 to figure out where a signal is coming from. It's quite simple, if the signal is low and repetitive, it is likely behind you and moving in the same direction. Conversely, if it is in front the signal will increase accordingly. Unless you drive through large open fields daily, I find this "huge competitive advantage" to be useless.
Does it really matter where a signal is coming from? If your radar goes off, slow down. If you need arrows to show you the way, pay more attention when driving.

I love the V1 because of the arrows, but not only that also the bogey counter, it tells you how many signals. Also when there are multiple signals it lets you know which is closest. Driving up on a stationary speed sign in your neighborhood your radar will go off as it usually does and most people will chug right along knowing that their radar always goes off there, but with the bogey counter I can see that there are two instead of one. In the end the more information you have the better prepared you are.
I've attached a pic below, V1 FTW!!!!!!!
I've used the 8500, 9500i, whistler pro's, cobras and all kinds of other ones, the v1 is my fav!
Plus like everyone said, being able to send in your radar detector for an upgrade is way better than shelling out $400+ for a new radar detector.

When you hear beep and think you just passed threat (think staggered officers), V1 arrows coupled with type/number radar signals pays off huge. http://www.valentine1.com/Demo/Demo3.asp
