I'm checking to see if someone here can recommend a shop they trust somewhere as close to Boca Raton as possible.

My parents are (stuck) in Boca Raton, FL right now on a road trip from Toronto where we live. They actually drive a Buick Park Avenue, but the Buick forums aren't very active. They said their car had symptoms of stumbling/bucking both at idle and while in gear. My guess is it's probably a sensor like a MAFS, TPS, IACV, etc...
Anyway, they took it to a Buick dealer there and were handed a repair estimate totaling over $7k. I know for a fact they are trying to take my parents to the cleaners. So I said get the car the hell out of there I will see if I can get a suggestion from someone I can trust on the forums.

Are you able to refer me to a mechanic you trust as close to Boca Raton as possible. They have AAA, so they can tow if need be.
