I want an exhaust
I want an exhaust
I'm thinking it's time to get an exaust system on the G. Now, I like the look of the exhaust, specially the ones with the titanium tips but I don't want the loudness that comes with some of these systems specially those that sound like cans being dragged lol; ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Stillen true dual exhaust! Keeps close to the stock tune while giving the car more room to breathe. Very quiet until you get on it. I had mine with and without cats. I prefer it with cats as it sounds more sophisticated and subtle but putting straight pipes creates a whole new beast! Lol

what motordyne did you do? Or are you talking about the Z with the Shockwave V1?
Most exhausts will only sounds crazy loud like you mentioned if you add test pipes.
It all depends on how much u wanna ball. If you wanna ball to a whole other level, get the Motordyne TDX Shockwave V2.

Updated Version 2.1 on the left and Version 2.0 on the right.

They now also use the stock catalytic brace for better support.

Your best bet would be to hear several exhausts in person.
It's really the only way to be 100% sure your going to like what you get.
Here's a link to give you some ideas but they still will sound different in person.
Not sure if you have a coupe or sedan and what year so here's all 3 threads.

I think the anwer to this is very very simple.
If you are willing to spend $1,400, get the motordyne.
If not, then get an used set.
And you can always use the Search button for such common questions. By your description (one with titanium tips), you might benefit from researching about it, that way you can learn the pros/cons about true duals vs oem types, replicas vs authentic, high end vs alright ones...
