I say this with all do respect to the mods, i'm still a noob, you guy's run a good site, but i had to speak my mind.

For those that wonder why some of us get perturbed and simply ignore the repeated questions and posts... for some of us it's because bad info gets past on from people that have read the previous posts... like many things in life, the quality degrades as things recycle - information is no different. I've seen posts from users that have never experienced a particular subject, but they offer info based on what they have read and often times get things distorted.
That plus, a lot of knowledgeable people spent lots of time and money on different mods and common fixes - they have written quality information here... that should be reviewed before asking an owner that has had the car for 6 months.
No offense to anyone - but the forum is to share quality information to fellow enthusiasts. There is a bunch of quality info in previously posted subjects.
My .02 - I'm not going to debate.
searching and finding answer > Bringing up an old thread > starting new thread.
if someone asks:
What's the loudest exhaust?
Whats the best intake?
If i put on a intake how much HP do i gain?
Do i have a sport bumper?
How do i know if i have a BOSE?
Whats the diff. between rev-up and non rev-up?
Then yes we are gonna say SEARCH because those have been covered so many times that if you accually searched you'd get 100's of threads. Noob's, well MOST noob's are just lazy and don't want to search or do any work, cause its easier to start a thread than look for the anser yourself.

Perhaps the FAQ could be organized better. Usually the 1st post is a contents page (like a book)
You list the contents and link to that part of the faq. Vs having to scroll down the whole thread:
ie...
FAQ question thread
This way they can just scan the 1st page and immediately go to the suspension section, engine section or whatever to get to their area of interest.

Also delete all the unnecessary comments and lock the thread. If people want to comment on it, they can post in the gen sedan section and refer to it. That will greatly decrease the thread size and make for less digging by members.
Here is a faq thread for reference. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=94806
But instead of linking to an open thread, I'd still keep all the info like you have here and link it to a particular post. That way the info stays short and free of clutter.
The hard part of doing this way is when someone has a suggestion to make part of the FAQ better, you have to insert it. But no biggie.

Find an old guy that's been on for a while and PM him. He's probably answered the same question 1000x at meets and has probably never chopped someone head off for asking him (that we know of).
