G35 Fuel Filters/location....?
G35 Fuel Filters/location....?
Do we have fuel filters on our G35s, if so where are they located? Did a SEARCH and found nothing about "Fuel Filters." I replaced the ones on my last Z every 30K miles but it was easy to see and replace....

Thanks Slim, why would Nissan put it in an area where it could be replaced easily....

Nissan doesn't recommend changing them until 100K miles. It's not that hard to do. Wait until your tank is low, remove the rear seat cushion and there will be an access panel to the fuel tank hat. Relieve the fuel pressure, take off the lines and pull out the fuel pump assembly.
I would recommend replacing the pump as well as they have a tendency to fail on higher mileage cars causing hard start ups and drive-ability issues.

You really won't have any issues with the filter. If you have any they are from pump failure. The cheapest option is going for a walboro aftermarket pump. The filter is a white mesh oversized screen before the pump inlet, like a fish tank net...
