I got the GroundingGear kit in today!
I'll install it next week. Can't wait. The stuff looks good.
Wanna see what it will do. Laters for now.

Can't wait for some feed-back on this product. I'm still debating if this product is worth it or not.

Exclamation

Sorry guys. No digital camera. I'm still in the dinosaur era. Need all my coins for parts. LOL.
I can tell you guys that the kit has some really thick and what looks like OFC cables that comes in several colors.
Got mine in blue. Looks really cool.
It's a 10 wire kit and can't wait to put it in.
Supposed to make the car run smoother with quicker shifts.
I'll submit a short follow up in the mod. section later.

A lot of drivers have been giving props to Gordgee's GroundingGear kit.
i'm happy with them too. when i 1st fired up the engine after the install, the engine RPMs did not come back down, and idled at ~1500. i was like WFT the engine used to idle @ 600! i think the ECU must've been like "what the hell did you do to me?"
but i immediately went for a spin, and in my opinion, throttle response did see impovement (car seemed to be reacting/thinking faster).
well after a month & a half, engine idle is back to 600, driving the car feels like butter, so my car seems to be content

^^ Cool, just made up my mind, I'm getting it. Great pics by the way, I can see where almost all the wires bolt up.

Hey Grizzly,
How long did the idle take to drop back to normal????
Doing mine this weekend.
I hear that a throttle reset or battery reset may be needed.
After install it's recommended to drive WOT for a few to get computer to recognize new stuff.
BY THE WAY....NICE COLOR (BLUE) hehe.....

after the 10 minute drive on the H1 and then back, the RPMs dropped down to a steady 1000... i think it was after 2 days of driving that idle went back to 600.
i did not do an ECU reset-- i kinda figured the computer would eventually settle things down... a reset may accelerate this re-learning.
also didn't take it WOT-- install was done w/ less than 1200 miles and i chose the "by-the-book" engine break-in.

try planning where you want to cut/drill the 2 holes in the rubber plug on the front of the battery housing because there can be little room for error depending on how you want to run the wires through.

oh yeah, you have impeccable taste

Thx Grizzly,
Mine has 750 miles now. So WOT is not an option. Though I do get carried away sometimes and do the nasty.
But....I think that the 1'st 500 should be enough to baby it around.
Everybodys opinion will vary.
But I don't go pounding around all the time though.
The G's sure attract some weird people that drive like as_ _ _ oles around me.
LOL. Just trying to keep my G safe..
Thanks for the heads up on drilling holes.
I'll find out first hand what it looks like in there.
This weekend, Can't wait.
