The technology out there is incredible for the radars. Don't be caught in Virginia with one. They are crazy there.

Not a trivial installation, needs a lot of electronic integration regarding powering and turning on/off

Only tablet in market that fits properly. I will provide more info and pics later if you want

2005 G35x Have a nice day everyone!
Head over to the Audio/Video section and look around over there. Several other members have fit tablets and other devices in the Nav cubby with great success. You might pick up a few pointers reading through their threads.

fitting a 7" into the motorized assembly is no easy task. you will need to cut the metal box and the two metal brackets that actually lift the assembly on the sides which are a much thicker metal than just the box. i had to order metal only cutting bits bec i couldnt cut the thicker gauge metal with the diamond tipped bits

I debated this very thing and ended up selling the nav unit and the housing. I still have a empty spot there but I'm working towards other things right now and busy at work. I think what people see is I can make a 7inch fit and its a pop up so they try that route. In the end I think a lot of people just go with a custom fab setup starting with the empty hole

I would love a set. I'm still on the 03 tails but definitely have the 06's in my future. The LEDs look great. When you install them we need vids of the turn signals and brake lights, etc

Put on some new Morimoto XB blinker LEDs and city lights for the OEM projectors. Also had to put in some load resistors.

Did I pay $10 apiece for em?

Hell no!

Made my own with a 10 Ohm 1 Watt load resistors with 1/2" PVC and some soldering. Wired in parallel with blinker circuit. Handles heat well.

$1 for resistors and $2 for PVC & 8 caps. Makes four for the four corners.

I really want to make some LED dual rings though. Those are Niceeee!

Playing around with new ARC features from Uprev and getting logs to adjust tune. After a few launches with launch control, I'm pretty sure I've roasted the factory clutch. The smell confirms it. Guess I'll be babying it until I can get it replaced.

Any clutch kit recommendations?
