I am still alive. The car is now alive again after a few months of sitting. Sorry for the dirty pics but she has been literally sitting since August of 2016. I will take more shots soon. I got to get passed emissions and she will be back on the road.
Not 557.7RWHP any more :-(
Stock engine with headers, gutted cats and Borla. I miss my fast intentions!
Custom set.
370z 19x10F with a 295/30/19 with a 10 mil spacer. I am going to order a 5 or 7mil.
370z 19x12R (widen 2") 325/30/19 with a 25 mil spacer. I need to shave one random bolt (drivers side underneath) to run a 20 mil on the rear which is my preference. As it is no rubbing, but I think with boost it may squat enough to rub.
I simply cant get ride of it. Nothing feels as good as my baby. I am looking at V8 R8s but that about 3-5 years out yet. Divorce is a ***** fugger!
I have always run OEM camber to get max tire life.
G Zilla welcome back. Hope the divorce is over so we may learn from you once again.
Thanks guys, the divorce is never really over when you have kids. Lets just say this. Every year I donate at least half a GTR to my ex.
Life goes on... my new girl is smoking hot, makes just as much money as I do (before i donate to my ex) and is the biggest giver I have ever seen. My boys love her so much my ex even has to give her props. That's saying a lot coming form Satans daughter herself. DOH!
I am once again getting another (one ever 2 years it seems) job that pays even more $$ but I tell you...its not about the $$. I work so daum much I cant enjoy my family or the car. I cannot believe I let GZILLA sit for almost 9 months. Its one thing if its in the shop...
To stay on topic.
My last set up was:
275/30/19 front - 10mil spacer
345/30/19 rear but she rubbed right at the fender bumper union so I ran a 305/30 instead.
This new set up I really like a lot.
295/30/19 - 10mil spacer
325/30/19 - 25mil spacer (i think) remember 19x12 rim
The 10mil spacer was the best fitment and look on the rear but, there is screw I need to cut on the drivers side. Back in the day my mentality was that you can run a 345 without modification of the car (minus fender rolls). I want to stick to that however, they don't make a 325/25/19.
I had two co-workers in the car yesterday and my passengerside wheel rubbed the fender on the inside... I had a blue line on the tire (I wont say how fast we were going or the size of the bump).
So I ordered a 5 mil spacer. If my math holds true the 370z 19x10in wheel should not rub the inner shock arm. I think we always ran 10mil spacers to give it a more flush look. Its been so long I forget but I'm pretty sure that hold true. So the 5 mil front will be on next week. The tire is large enough, it should still look flush. if I have space. I will run the 305.30.19 next set for the front.
Future plans for the car...?
I am going to drop the G ZILLA name (but keep my plate) and go with Triceratops...lol.
I want to modify a Stillen roots style sc with a tooth style belt or covert to a chain set up. (why, the Stillen SC Roots style belts are old *** dirt and literally fall apart) since i have never owened one I have not found a replacement belt size....I think they are one off from Stillen. The belts are a rare size and 15 years old. They crack in a few miles.
Once that's figured out I will add to the SC set up a twin turbo APS or Greddy kit.. hence the Tri (3) reference of Triceratops.
I cant get this color out of my head or sight. My neighbor works for Audi and had this car for a few weeks. He owns an R8... Maybe Gzilla gets an color update! After all Godzilla is green!
So stand by....I need a good year though. I plan to take my boys/lady to Disney this year and that shizzil isn't cheap.
Welcome back man. Make sure to give them the time and attention they deserve... maybe half that of the G !
Excited to see where this goes... as most mod threads are about form fitment now a days.
I like the green. Wrap or painted? No more painted tails if you go green. And wait a minute... aren't you stealing green goblin's theme!?
Id probably go wrapped. Since I was one of the first to completely wrap a car "without" totally wrapping it...lol
Daum I miss those Work T1S, stepped polished lip
20x9 front 275/25/20 front + 11(I think)
21x10.5 rear 295/25/21 rear +25 (I think)
My car has seen it all!
GZILLA has been my tag for over 11 years. Gzilla is naturally green. I'm not stealing a theme, I'm simply confirming to what I should of in the first place. LOL
I've been researching for weeks and examining all the specs of other folks cars. I just bought my 03 g sedan and have everything figured out but want to double check with knowledgeable people. Insight perhaps. I'm going to run 19x8 30mm on the front and a 19x9 on the back. Do I need to go 36mm or 42mm on the back to have it flush with the front? Also, I'm going with 245/35 on the front but looking for a somewhat staggered look, what is the best option for the back as I do not want to roll the fenders or have any rubbing issues? Any and all opinions greatly appreciated on offsets or tire combination. Thanks
My set up in these pictures is with 18X9 +25 all around. The wheel rim comes just to the edge of the fender and I'm dropped 3". Tires are 235/45F and 245/45 rear. I'm guessing you'll need a 19X9 +42 for the back to match the rim position of the fronts and the wheels will be inside the fender well a decent amount. My tire suggestion would be a 255/35 or for a beefier look a 275/30 which might rub.

Hello, I have a 2003 G35 coupe. My car is stock height. I plan on lowering it soon. I came across a set of Weds Mavericks 710s. The wheels are a square set up. The front and rear wheels are 19x9.5 with a 32 offset for the front and 19x9.5 with a 38 offset for the rear. The tires sizes for the front and rear are 235-35-19. Will I have any issues with this set up? Will the tires be stretched? Will my car looked raised?

Thank you dream. I figured it was 42. Nice car btw. That's what I'm going for. I am about to do a complete overhaul of the suspension with BC coilovers, upper and lower arms, sway bar and endlinks, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. I'll post a pic when it is done. Thank you again.
