Since I've decided to keep my G....in the past 2 weeks I've done: new NGK Iridium plugs, synth oil change, front strut brace, rev-up airbox, Z-tube, KYB Excel-G and Eibach Pro-kits on all 4 corners. Had ProDrive shoes to put on but totally disregarded the fact I needed new lugs so they'll go on tomorrow. Also Yakima roof rack going on as cycle season for me is about to happen....needed Q35 feet to mount. Have a catch-can that needs to go on....will do in the next couple weeks. Next are rear sways upgrade from stock...still shopping for either used G35S or used Hotchkis or Eibach. Feeling pretty good about keeping her so far.......

You just missed a set of Hotchkiz here, and they went like hot cakes. Might as well buy new!

It was a trade-in at a Nissan dealer. They had it priced at $14K, which was on the low side of KBB dealer price. I was shocked when we agreed to a sales price of $13K; somehow it had lasted 8 days in their online listing, but in their world that's not a lot of time. Maybe it was still there because it's a 5AT. I wasn't quibbling on that for a car with 26K miles.

They made up for the pricing with the most outlandish fees I have ever seen. The total out the door price was $14,585. With the insurance payoff from my sedanX, I just bought this car for $5,854 out of pocket.

Pics coming soon, but I've done a good bit recently.

Found two of the last remaining new oem black floor mats on the planet.
New oem shift **** from Japan
New door pull silver trim on both sides
Swapped all lights to 8k LED
Roof spoiler
All dings and scratches removed.
Rust around drivers rear wheel well fixed (for the SECOND TIME)
New coil packs, plugs
Black oem grill (in process)
Dark grey oem rear emblems (in process). May do lip spoiler same color TBD
Rear diffuser area painted flat black (in process)
Oem drivers seatbelt and retractor replaced
Got the bottom piece of the center console off of eBay to replace mine with cracked bottom near latch. Luckily it was in great shape.
New 35% tint all the way around
New Conti ExtremeSport DWS on my Volk rims
Stiller rear sway bar adjusted to full soft to better load up the rear end of the car.
9000k HID bulbs
CrystalVision H1 fog lights

Hmmm. That's a lot!

I think the tiny little resistors next to them are fried

Aftermath from the 1/4 inch of snow I had fun in after work last night. Missed the pavement a little bit lol! Snow tires spinning in 2nd gear sideways thru grass REALLY throws sod! I was heading from left to right when I hit there.

Sorry I forgot we're not supposed to do donuts in snow in our works parking lots. I've been driving in snow for 30 years now. Zero points on my license and no accidents. Don't assume I'm a fool on the streets.

Seems like both of those statements can not be true. Either way 8-9K headlight bulbs are bad choices for usuable light. If it's a "cool" blue/purple color you're looking for you're doing it wrong.........

4300K or bust for output. There is a reason OEM's don't sell over 6000k, it's a bloody waste of money!

LOL! All lights except for headlights, fog lights, blinkers went to 8k LEDs

My 8k LEDs look quite close to the 6k HIDs I have in there now, so I figured I'd try the 8k HIDs. We'll see how it goes. I don't drive this car much at night anyways, so, fashion over function I guess.

Update to what I've done next: bought an oem cover off of a forum member and ordered the Griots BOSS buffer system for some fun as soon as it gets warm out.
Will be ordering new cam and crankshaft sensors, wiper arms and a new drivers seatbelt unit for better tension soon.
May be doing 3M crystalline on the windshield soon as well.
Oh, and I picked up a new oem double din piece for an eventual head unit swap.

I think that's it for now.

Picked up this Alpine type R cheap so swapped out the older Type S

Also my 3rd brake on the wing was completely opaque, cracked in the middle and the lights never lit up as long as I owned the car. It appears to be double sided taped onto the wing (not sure if this is oem) but it was so brittle it would fall to pieces if I attempted to completely remove it. Not sure if the wing has to come off to replace it too - that would be a job. If it's as easy as removing the plastic, old tape, wiring and simply pluging a new one in and double side taping it in, I may replace soon in the future. But for now I superglued the broken part, sanded and painted black.
